All I Want For Christmas Is... Charlotte Tilbury

Filmstar Bronze & Glow / Powder & Sculpt Brush / Fallen Angel Luxury Eyeshadow Palette / Cheek To Chic Love Glow
Air Brush Flawless Finish 1 Fair / Cheek To Chic Ecstasy / Mini Lipstick Charms / Rock 'N' Kohl Bedroom Black
Lip Cheat Pillow Talk / Matte Revolution Glastonberry

Along with some Sarah Chapman skincare goodies, the only thing I want for Christmas is some Charlotte Tilbury makeup. It's been a long time since I've been so excited by a makeup brand. Everything Charlotte creates is simply stunning & I have to admit - I want it all. Although she launched her makeup range in 2013, counters local to me in Manchester & Leeds only opened up very recently. I don't really like spending so much money on cosmetics if I can't swatch them in person first so I just waited patiently for those northern counters to open instead of ordering online. In September I bought my first Charlotte Tilbury item, the Uptown Girl eyeshadow palette. The quality is like nothing else & creating gorgeous eye looks with it is child's play. I would've bought more but the Leeds counter had hardly anything left in stock! I was hooked immediately & soon started plotting what to buy next.

I can't resist sneaking over to a Charlotte Tilbury counter whenever I'm in Leeds or Manchester so I have actually bought a few of the items on this wishlist already! I'm being good though & have placed them under my tree ready for Christmas Day. If you're planning on asking for any Charlotte Tilbury products this Christmas I would go for the Fallen Angel eyeshadow palette. This is one of the things I've already bought & it is incredible. I deserve a slap for spending £45 on four eyeshadow pans but I just couldn't help myself! Plus it's limited edition so if you don't buy it now, you might miss out on it forever. The Rock 'N' Kohl liner finishes off any eye look perfectly, it is pitch black & stays put. I never normally care about pencil eyeliners but this is something special. I also finally bought the Filmstar Bronze & Glow with the Powder & Sculpt brush. I was torn between getting this or the Anastasia Contour Palette but the gorgeous shades, the shimmer & the luxe packaging of Bronze & Glow eventually won me over. The Flawless Finish powder looked amazing when I had it applied at a counter. It's quite similar to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light but less shimmery. I'm obsessed with blushers & the ones that really appealed to me when swatched were Love Glow & Ecstasy. They're highly pigmented, blend so beautifully & feel like silk.

If you're a lip product junkie like me then you have to try her lipsticks. The colours available are so pretty & the formula of both the K.I.S.S.I.N.G. & Matte Revolution lipsticks is just wonderful. I've seen so many people rocking Glastonberry on their lips lately & I need that deep blackcurrant shade in my life. I've heard so many good things about the Lip Cheat lip liner in Pillow Talk. I can't wait to draw on some massive Kylie Jenner lips with this! How cute are the Mini Lipstick Charms? In that adorable box you get a mini version of Penelope Pink, Bitch Perfect & So Marilyn. It would make such a lovely little present & I can only hope someone buys it for me! Are there any Charlotte Tilbury products on your Christmas wishlist?

All I Want For Christmas Is... Sarah Chapman

Ultimate Cleanse / Morning Facial / Overnight Facial / Intense Hydrating Booster
Overnight Exfoliating Booster / Professional Cleansing Mitts / Overnight Facial Candle

Normally I have no qualms about splashing out on skincare. I think it's important to invest in good quality products in order to see the best possible results. However I just can't bring myself to press 'buy' on any of the Sarah Chapman products. The prices literally make me cringe when I see everything together in an online shopping basket. Her Skinesis range sounds phenomenal and I'm absolutely desperate to try some of these über-luxurious skincare treats. But I do already have a lot of skincare products & can't really justify spending so much money on more when I still have so many things to use up. That's why this year half of my Christmas wishlist is made up entirely of Sarah Chapman products. I seriously doubt I will receive any of these items but a girl can dream!

Obviously the product that I would like to try the most is the Skinesis Overnight Facial. It's a serum-oil that you use in place of a night cream. I've heard so much about this potent blend of beautifying oils & it sounds like it works wonders on the skin. You can also get a candle with the same fragrance blend as Overnight Facial. I've never smelled it myself but the combination of jasmine, frangipani, rose & tuberose sounds heavenly! Morning Facial is another serum-oil but this one is used under your day cream. Anything that can make my face look glowing & less tired is very welcome in my routine. I've always loved products with hyaluronic acid so I'm sure the Intense Hydrating Booster would help to plump up my dehydrated skin. The Overnight Exfoliating Booster also sounds pretty awesome. It contains salicylic acid, lactic acid & retinol which are ingredients that I always look for in skincare. Chemical exfoliants are my fave! These days I much prefer using a gentle cleanser to balance out the harsher active ingredients that I rely on for clear skin. That's why I really want to try the Ultimate Cleanse. It's an oily balm formula that supposedly leaves your skin feeling baby soft. Washing it off with those Professional Cleansing Mitts would be a rather lavish way to start the day. Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque

Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque - £3.50

I always say that the key to a good skincare routine is consistency. If you've already found the products & schedule that work for you then it can be detrimental to add in new things all the time. However I think that face masks are the exception to that rule. They're more of an occasional thing & can be just what you need to sort out your skin in times of trouble. That's how I rationalise buying loads of them anyway! The Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque is the latest addition to my lineup. This mask is another highly recommended product on the SkincareAddiction subreddit & considering it's literally as cheap as chips I had to give it a go.

If you like classic clay masks then this will be right up your street. It dries & cracks on your skin in a super satisfying way. With it's tingly fresh sensation & fetching green colour it's exactly the kind of thing I would pass around to all my friends during a sleepover or girly pamper day. Clay masks are brilliant for anyone with oily or acne-prone skin. As they dry on your face they help to draw out any excess oil, unclogging & minimising pores in the process. The spot busting ingredients in this mask are zinc & sulphur which help to reduce inflammation & clear away dead skin cells. The original Mint Julep Masque didn't actually include any mint whatsoever but it was reformulated earlier this year to include spearmint leaf oil. It now smells exactly like Lush's Mask Of Magnaminty and feels really refreshing. I apply this mask with a flat foundation brush & leave it on for 10 minutes. The minty feeling is pretty intense so I wouldn't recommend this to those with sensitive skin. When I wash it off my face looks a bit red but this soon goes away.

Obviously this isn't gonna have the same effect as something full of acids like GLAMGLOW Supermud but it is a surprisingly good face mask. Anything underneath my skin either gets pulled to the surface so it can heal or dissipates completely. I think it works especially well on painful spots as it stops them from hurting & reduces them in size. Whenever I use this the pores on my nose look practically invisible and the congestion on my forehead is greatly diminished. It's not my favourite mask ever but for just a couple of quid you get a huge amount of a highly effective traditional clay mask & you can't really argue with that.
