Love Me Beauty Box March 2014

Love Me Beauty Box* - £10 + £2.95 Delivery

Every month Love Me Beauty offer a choice of three different beauty boxes. I have to admit it was rather difficult to choose one this month. All of the products sounded pretty amazing! Not only that but each box had six items instead of the usual five. I finally settled on menu one due to the inclusion of the Nip + Fab CC Eye Fix. As always Love Me Beauty have been very generous with their samples. My box had three full size products & three trial size products. Here's what I received:

BlanX White Shock Toothpaste
I think that BlankX are one of the few brands that you can find in Boots with truly effective teeth whitening products. I used to love their whitening mouthwash but I can't seem to find it in the shops anymore. Looking at their website it appears that they do still make a whitening mouthwash as part of this White Shock range so I'll be getting a bottle of that for sure. Anyway onto this toothpaste. The White Shock range features a peroxide-free formula that reacts to light exposure so it will continue to whiten your teeth throughout the day. Top dentist tip: don't rinse your mouth out or use mouthwash after brushing your teeth. You will just wash off the effects of your toothpaste. I have to say that this sample tube has me impressed. My teeth definitely look a bit brighter already. I'd be very interested in trying out their LED whitening treatment too.

Murad Sheer Lustre Day Moisture SPF 15
This is a really lovely moisturiser. I wasn't expecting much but it feels so comforting on the skin. The formula looks like a white cream but the texture is more like a gel. Avocado oil & shea butter help to soften & nourish the skin. It is instantly hydrating & makes my face look really dewy. It would probably be best for those with dry or normal skin types. If you have oily skin I have a feeling this would look far too greasy. I'm happy with my Clarins HydraQuench Lotion SPF 15 but if the Murad moisturiser was a bit cheaper I would consider buying this instead.

Deep Steep Moisture Stick in Lavender Chamomile
I love multipurpose balm products and I normally keep a couple in my handbag. But this lavender scented stick is so dreamy that it's quickly found a home on my bedside table. I like to apply it to my pulse points before bed to help me drift off into the land of nod. The formula of the balm is really nice. It features coconut oil, shea butter & cocoa seed butter to deeply hydrate the skin without feeling greasy. It sinks right in & is perfect for sorting out any dry areas like elbows, knees & feet. The Honeydew Spearmint stick in one of the other boxes sounds lovely too. I think I'll be picking up a couple more of these.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company Gracie False Lashes
I have a huge stash of false lashes from Eylure, Ardell, Kiss & Illamasqua but I've never tried any from The Vintage Cosmetic Company before. I love lashes with an invisible band as it means you don't have to whack on loads of eyeliner to cover the join. These would be a great choice if you're just looking to add some length to your lashes. They're very subtle & natural enough to wear during the day. They make a change from all the crazy unwearable eyelashes you tend to get in beauty boxes. I found these really easy to apply & I love the fluttery doe-eyed look they give me. I didn't really like the glue that came with the lashes. It was slightly too tacky leaving little strands of glue everywhere. Duo glue is a much better option.

Nip + Fab CC Eye Fix in Light
I decided to go for this menu just so I could try out this product. Unfortunately this was probably the only disappointing product in the box. This product claims to be an eye cream & a concealer in one. The formula is far too wet meaning that it immediately sinks into any creases around your eyes. The colour match is fairly good. It does work to correct dark circles but the coverage just isn't enough for me so I have to use a proper concealer on top. I don't think it works as an eye cream either. It felt a bit tacky around my eyes even after a few hours of wear which wasn't very comfortable. It could potentially be good for someone younger at school where you can't wear too much makeup but it's definitely not for me. I'll be sticking to my Bobbi Brown Corrector in future.

Quintessentially English Bath Salts in English Rose
Bath salts are my current bath product of choice. They're great for drawing out toxins in your body & leave you feeling wonderfully relaxed. Personally I love rose scents so I think these salts are amazing. The mix of rose absolute, rose geranium & jasmine perfumes is heavenly & very romantic. They're incredibly indulgent & you can use the salts to exfoliate with too. The little rose buds are such a cute finishing touch. I really want to try the Quintessentially English Sunshine Bath Salts next because I'm a huge fan of citrus scents.

Even though I didn't like the Nip + Fab Eye Fix I'm still glad I went for menu one. I really loved everything else & I've found a few new things that I will be repurchasing very soon. Love Me Beauty Box February 2014 + 10% Discount Code

Love Me Beauty Box* - £10 + £2.95 Delivery

This month's Love Me Beauty box had a Valentine's theme complete with some gorgeous red packaging & a special surprise product. If you're fed up of beauty boxes containing tiny samples of products you don't care about then you should probably think about switching to Love Me Beauty. Every month they offer you a choice of three different menus so you know exactly what to expect when you open your package. They consistently provide subscribers with full size products & generous samples so you will always get your money's worth. I opted for menu one this month & here is what I received:

Inner Me Beautify Me Vitamin Complex
Everyone who knows me knows that I am a crazy supplement junkie so I was really excited to see this included in the box. This packet contains a two week supply of pills that provide you with nutrients that aim to improve your hair, skin & nails. I found myself nodding along to the ingredient list as it contains things like Biotin, Zinc, Copper & Selenium which are things I've taken with great results. It was brilliant to get this as a sample because the pack normally costs £15 - more than the price of the entire beauty box! For that reason I personally wouldn't repurchase it because I can get these things cheaper & in higher quantities from Holland & Barrett. However if you're not well-versed in the world of health supplements then this is a very simplified way of getting the nutrients you need.

Percy & Reed No-Fuss Flawlessness Dry Conditioner
I was very intrigued by this product. We've all heard of dry shampoo but dry conditioner? It seems like a weird concept & the results are pretty weird too. It has that same powdery feeling as dry shampoo & it does get rid of excess oils. It refreshes the hair and adds some volume, texture & movement. If you're doing a hairstyle that requires unwashed hair like a beehive then this could be quite useful. Considering this is a conditioner though it's supposed to make your hair super soft & shiny. Instead my hair was drier & matter than ever. The smell is horrendous so even if it did make my hair soft I wouldn't use it again. It made me feel quite nauseous and I wanted to go & wash my hair right away just to get rid of it. I was really disappointed by this as there are several Percy & Reed products that I do like. Not a fan.

Murad Osmolyte Tonic
This month Love Me Beauty decided to give everyone a surprise item which is a 'hero product' that their subscribers have loved. This product differs in every box. I received a bottle of Murad's Osmolyte Tonic as my surprise item & I was very pleased to see this pop up again. This is a very refreshing & cooling spray toner. It helps to plump up & firm the skin. At the same time it also helps to reduce irritation & calm any blemishes. It's kinda like Hydraluron in a bottle. Great stuff!

La Claree Oliv Smooth Day Face Care
This moisturiser has a light mousse texture yet it feels incredibly hydrating on the skin. It dries down to a matte finish & is easily absorbed. It makes my skin feel very soft & smooth without being greasy at all. It features olive leaf extract & lots of other lovely natural ingredients. You only need a tiny amount for your whole face & neck so this little pot should last a while. I really like it & will definitely be checking out the brand's other products.

The Bakewell Soap Company May Chang Multi-Purpose Pocket Balm
I'm a big fan of multi-purpose balm products, they're such a handbag staple for me. Each box menu has a different variety of this balm. I'm a sucker for citrus scents so I chose the May Chang balm. It smells absolutely incredible! It can be used almost anywhere - lips, hands, nails & body. It provides some welcome relief & soothing hydration to any dry, flaky, itchy or irritable skin without feeling greasy. This really is such a lovely product & that refreshing citrus scent is far too good to resist.

As always this Valentine's edition was excellent value for money & I really liked most of the products. I loved receiving that Murad toner again & the May Chang balm now has a permanent home in my handbag. You can subscribe to Love Me Beauty for £10 a month plus £2.95 delivery with no minimum subscription term. Love Me Beauty have kindly given me a special discount code so you can get 10% off your first box! Just enter SV10 at the checkout. Visit the Love Me Beauty website to find out more.

Love Me Beauty Box January 2014

Love Me Beauty Box* - £10 + £2.95 Delivery

Another month, another Love Me Beauty box & it sure is a good'un! Love Me Beauty launched last year as the beauty box with a choice. Every month you get to choose between three boxes, each with a slightly different menu of products. Only you know what kind of products you want to try so this method is much better than getting sent loads of stuff you'll never use. I personally love having a few options & it's always exciting to check out the new menus. This month I went for menu three because I'm a big fan of Arran Aromatics & this box had the least scary shade of eyeshadow in it! It contains four full sized products & one sample. It's rare to find a beauty box that consistently sends out so many proper products. That's just one of the many reasons why Love Me Beauty is such a fab service. Here's what I received:

Anatomicals Rose & Jasmine Body Cleanser
I'm kinda bored of Anatomicals products popping up in beauty boxes. Apart from the colourful packaging & witty product names I don't feel like they have much to offer. You can never have too many shower gels though & I do really like the scent of this product. Rose & jasmine are two of my faves!

Pureology Colour Stylist Silk Bodifier
I've heard a lot of hype about Pureology products so I was excited to finally try one of them out. This is a volumising mousse for coloured hair. A lot of the mousses I've tried in the past would make my hair feel sticky & horrible. This one is much nicer. My hair felt really soft after using this & had a lovely shine to it. It didn't add that much volume to my hair but it did make it feel a lot thicker & fuller. I'd really recommend trying this if you have fine hair.

Arran Aromatics Apothecary Wheatgerm & Vitamin E Soap
I've been using a few different products from Arran Aromatics recently & they make some great quality stuff. I used to always buy the Lush body soaps but they ended up being quite pricey for what they were. This soap is a lot cheaper but just as lovely. I tend to think that soap is more drying than shower gels however this one is actually quite moisturising. The bar has got oatmeal particles inside which are fairly gentle yet exfoliate effectively. The wheatgerm & vitamin E ensure that your skin stays soft. I love trying out new body scrubs & I highly rate the Arran Aromatics ones. They're some of the best around with both exfoliating & moisturising properties.

Cosmetics À La Carte Divine Lash Mascara
I'd only vaguely heard of Cosmetics À La Carte before but the product that really piqued my interest in this box was their Divine Lash Mascara. This mascara alone costs £23 so January's box is excellent value for money. I'm wearing it in the above photo and as you can see it provides your lashes with lots of length, separation & definition. The slim brush easily fits into the corners to coat every tiny little lash. It's not as volumising as I would like but that means that it's not clumpy either. My lashes stayed well curled with this mascara & I've not experienced any flaking or smudging with it. Pretty impressive I'd say!

NYX Single Eyeshadow in Toffee Shimmer
On the menu it said that NYX Sahara eyeshadow was supposed to be in this box but instead I received Toffee Shimmer. I really like this colour though as it's just a very pretty sheer white gold shimmery shade. You can use it as a regular eyeshadow but I think it works really well as a highlight colour - both on the eyes & the face. In the above photo I packed it onto my eyelids & then blended it right up to my brow bone. I have a couple of NYX eyeshadow palettes & generally I think they're pretty good quality. You can expect lots of fallout though. Luckily that doesn't matter with a light colour like this. The texture is a little bit chalky but the colour is really nice.

All in all I think this was a brilliant box with a great selection of hair, body & makeup products. It was nice to see some different brands included as well. The contents are valued at nearly £40 so this box is well worth paying a tenner for. You can subscribe to Love Me Beauty for £10 a month plus £2.95 delivery with no minimum subscription term. Love Me Beauty Box December 2013

Love Me Beauty Box* - £10 + £2.95 Delivery

For December Love Me Beauty brought out their special Christmas edition box. While there was still a choice of three boxes as usual the options didn't differ too much this month. I went for Menu 1 because it contained two face masks & those are always fun to try out. Apparently we were supposed to receive a surprise Christmas gift in our boxes but I only got the five items included on the menu. I'm definitely not complaining though because the contents of the box were really good, especially the face masks!

Lord & Berry Intensity Lipstick in Glazed Pink
I liked the Lord & Berry lipstick I received in last month's box but this colour just isn't for me. It's a frosty nude pink shade and I can't help but think that it makes me look a bit dead. It seems quite grey toned. The formula of these lipsticks is very creamy & pigmented but I think I'll have to pass on this particular lipstick to one of my friends.

Lord & Berry Kissproof Lip Liner in Romantica
Now this colour is a lot more me. If you prefer matte lips then it can sometimes be easier to just use a lip liner over some lip balm. This one was creamy & well pigmented so it was a lot easier to work with than a lot of other lip liners. It doesn't dry out your lips or make them feel tight either. I wouldn't say it lives up to it's claims of being 'kissproof' but it does leave a nice stain on your lips. I just wish they would've given us a lipstick that matches this bright pink lip liner.

Rodial 5 Minute Facial
This product has such a weird texture. Think Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in the form of a face mask. It's an exfoliating mask with very fine grains. You leave it to dry for 5 minutes and then rub off most of the product with your fingertips. As you rub it has an exfoliating effect on your face. Then you wash off the excess with warm water. It did sting my skin a little bit when I first applied it but that soon went away. When I washed my face after using this I was left with amazingly baby soft skin. My pores were barely visible and my face looked smoother & brighter. It may be a bit of a strange product but the effects are incredible.

S5 Vitality Mask
I'd never heard of S5 Skincare before so I was really intrigued by this product. S5 make skincare products designed for stressed skin featuring highly effective organic bioactives. I love me some organic skincare so I had high hopes for this product. This is another face mask but it's very different to the Rodial one. The texture is more like a serum & it feels very cooling on your face as you apply it. You just apply a thick layer of this stuff & wash it off after 5 minutes. It makes my skin feel really fresh & smooth. The best thing about this is the wonderful glow it gives to your skin. It's a perfect remedy for dull & tired Winter skin. I'll definitely be looking into S5's other products in future because this mask was so lovely to use.

Headline Colors Nail Polish in Quicksand
I previously received a Headline Colours nail polish in another Love Me Beauty box (back when it was called BeautecoBox) and was very impressed with the lovely gold colour I chose. In this box there wasn't a choice of nail polish colour but I really do like Quicksand. It's a classy & chic taupe shade that is opaque in just one coat. The brush in these polishes is a good shape so I find them really easy to apply and the formula of the polish is very smooth & creamy. It has a nice glossy finish too. This shade is very chip resistant compared to the gold one I tried so this is a bit of a one coat wonder.

This was another great box with three fullsize products. I always think the ratio of samples to fullsize products is perfect in the Love Me Beauty boxes. I feel like some of these brands keep popping up though, especially Lord & Berry. Hopefully there'll be some completely new brands to try in next year's boxes. I kinda wish this box was a bit more festive though as nothing really set it apart from the regular boxes. Love Me Beauty Box November 2013

Love Me Beauty Box* - £10 + £2.95 Delivery

Love Me Beauty is the beauty box with a choice and that is the main reason why I think it is the best one out there. Every month subscribers are given a choice between three boxes so you know exactly what to expect when you receive your parcel. The main difference between the November boxes were the colours of the lip gloss & nail polish. For my November box I went with option three and here is what I received:

Mitchell & Peach Shower Wash
Personally I find Mitchell & Peach products to be a bit boring. I swear I've received loads of their samples in other beauty boxes & they're never anything to get excited about. Sure it's a nice moisturising shower gel with a lovely lavender scent but I definitely wouldn't pay £20 for a full size one.

Jelly Pong Pong 2-In-1 Bronze Shadow/Liner
I've heard so much about Jelly Pong Pong for years but I've never actually tried any of their products before. This pencil is an eye shadow & eyeliner in one product. I've been using this quite a lot lately because it's just so foolproof. It feels really creamy & applies easily without any dragging. It also has brilliant staying power. Here I've applied it all over my lids & under my waterline before blending it out with a MAC 217 & 219 brush. I've not experienced any creasing with this product even without wearing a primer. It really stays put! It can take a while to blend it all out so you do need to work quickly. I really like the bronze colour & I think it's a great everyday eye product. You could easily build this up for a night out too. I'm rather tempted to buy some more of these pencils in other colours.

Artdeco Hydra Lip Booster in Translucent Rose
I absolutely loved the Artdeco Eyeshadow Base I got in a previous Love Me Beauty box - it has fast become my favourite eye primer ever. So I was looking forward to trying another product from their range. This super shiny lip gloss has a light pink tint to it & feels very nice on the lips. It's quite moisturising & long-lasting for a lip gloss. The gloss features hyaluronic filling spheres to plump up your lips. It's not sticky either which is very important to me. I'm wearing it in the above photo & I think it looks really pretty.

Absolution Le Soin Purifiant
I was really impressed with this purifying face mask. It features birch sap & white clay to absorb impurities & tighten pores. Even though it is a clay mask it doesn't really dry on your face so it won't dehydrate your skin at all. It made my skin feel very tingly & minty fresh as it set on my face. After washing it off it left my skin looking clearer, brighter & more radiant. It also soothes the skin & reduces irritation. It really clears out my pores & gives me fresh, soft skin. Unfortunately I can't seem to find this brand in the UK but if they ever come across the pond I would be very interested in trying some more of their skincare products.

Model's Own Red Alert
If you saw my post about my nail polish collection you might have noticed that I have hardly any red polishes. Despite the mass of Model's Own ones I already own, I didn't have Red Alert so this classic bright red is a very welcome new addition. If Love Me Beauty didn't give us a choice of products I might've ended up with a colour I already owned so you can see why I like these boxes so much. You can't beat this colour if you're looking for a good old festive red.

Lord & Berry Intensity Lipstick in Brick Lip
There were a couple of issues with the Lord & Berry products in the October Love Me Beauty box so to make up for it they included an extra lipstick in the November box. It was incredibly nice of them to do that & I was surprised by how much I like this colour. If I was swatching this at a counter I would never have bought it myself but I actually think it suits me pretty well. It's a deep reddy brown shade & is ideal for a vampy A/W look. The formula is smooth, non-drying & long-lasting. It has great pigmentation too & was opaque in one swipe. A very high quality lipstick indeed & it more than makes up for the Lord & Berry products in the last box.

Apart from the shower gel I really liked every product in this box. I think everyone likes to receive makeup in sample boxes - especially when there's four full size items! I'll be using all of them for a long time. If the face mask was readily available in the UK I would probably end up buying a full size one of those too. You can subscribe to Love Me Beauty for £10 a month plus £2.95 delivery with no minimum subscription term. Love Me Beauty Box October 2013

Love Me Beauty Box* - £10 + £2.95 Delivery

Last month's Love Me Beauty box (previously BeautecoBox) was definitely an exciting one with four full sized products and just one sample. Love Me Beauty provide you with three different boxes to choose from which sets them apart from any other beauty box on the market. I was really looking forward to trying out some Lord & Berry products for the first time and the inclusion of a full sized bottle of eye makeup remover meant that I decided to opt for menu 3.

Balm Balm Indulge Bath & Shower Oil
I've made a conscious effort to have more baths than showers recently because there's just so many lovely bath salts, oils, bombs etc. out there. I love the NEOM bath oils so I had high hopes for this one & it smells gorgeous. It contains essential oils of ylang ylang, patchouli, & clary sage so the scent is quite a deep & musky floral one. It is incredibly relaxing and this little bottle lasted for 3 baths. A very indulgent organic bathtime treat. You can also pop some on a flannel for use in the shower or dab a drop on your pulse points for some instant relaxation.

Weleda Millet Nourishing Shampoo
This millet shampoo contains macadamia nut oil, extracts of organic millet husks and sage to gently cleanse and nourish your hair. Weleda are known for their natural eco-friendly products. This shampoo is SLS free and features extract of grapefruit & peppermint. The smell is kinda like minty porridge, which I have to admit I like haha. This was the sample of the box so the tube was a little bit small for my hair. I used it on Chloe instead and it made her hair really shiny. She has really frizzy curly hair so it didn't do much for the condition of it but it works as a gentle shampoo suitable for the whole family. However the full size bottle costs £9 so I can't see myself repurchasing it.

Amie Bright Eyes
I've tried a few Amie products now & they're a great choice if you want good skincare on a budget. I recently ran out of Bioderma so this product is one of the main reasons I chose this particular box. This eye makeup remover is very gentle and doesn't make my eyes sting at all. It features meadow cornflower, chamomile, grape water & cucumber to cleanse whilst soothing & refreshing the eye area at the same time. It is oil-free so there's no horrible greasiness afterwards. It manages to remove my normal eye makeup really well but it completely failed when I tried to get off the Lord & Berry waterproof products. For that reason I think I prefer micellar waters because the oil content in those helps to remove waterproof mascara without leaving any greasiness either. This works perfectly well on everyday makeup. I do seem to be getting through the bottle rather quickly though!

Lord & Berry Scuba Mascara
I go swimming every week so I've been looking for a good waterproof mascara. This came very close but it was let down by one thing - it is incredibly dry. If you ignore that dryness though, this makes your lashes look stunning. Never has anything made my lashes look so long or hold a curl like this before. They were almost touching my eyebrows! I had to run the tube under a hot tap first to get anything out though, which really isn't acceptable for a new product. The dryness also made my lashes quite flaky & I had some black bits drop down underneath my eyes. It is definitely waterproof though and it took a bit of effort with some cleansing oil & a muslin cloth to remove it properly. It's just frustrating that this was so dry because it had so much potential!

Lord & Berry Smudgeproof Eyeliner in Smoke
This waterproof eyeliner is actually grey in colour. It looks really nice & is a softer alternative to black eyeliner. This stuff does not move! It doesn't run, smudge or transfer at all & only comes off with an oil-based makeup remover. However again there were a couple of problems with this Lord & Berry product. The edges of the pencil were raised above the nib so I had to sharpen it a bit first before I could use it. It also wouldn't show up at all on my waterline. Instead I'd recommend using it all over the lid & then blending it out quickly with a MAC 217 brush. It does set quickly so you do have to work fast. I do like this product & the colour is pretty unique so I can see myself using this a lot. Grey smokey eye looks are my fave.

This is the first time I've felt a little bit disappointed with my Love Me Beauty box. I think it was mainly let down by the Lord & Berry products because they had the potential to be amazing but fell at the last hurdle. Apparently some other people have experienced problems with those products too. Product quality and customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to Love Me Beauty, so they have released this statement:

"It has come to our attention that some products dispatched in our October box from our long term partner Lord & Berry, have not met the high standards set by Lord & Berry and ourselves. As our customers are the heart of our business, this has been brought to the attention of Lord & Berry's head office. Lord & Berry has set a team to investigate as to why the products fell below the high standards that they set themselves and are making additional quality checks to all of their products that they send internationally. As a gesture of goodwill and apology to our members, Lord & Berry will be providing in next month’s box a full sized lipstick which retails at £12 to all members. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."

I think it's brilliant that they're putting things right and are giving everyone a free lipstick next month. It shows that they do care about the feedback they get from customers and don't just fob people off with a statement (take note, Bleach London). You can subscribe to Love Me Beauty for £10 a month plus £2.95 delivery with no minimum subscription term. Visit the Love Me Beauty website to find out more.

Love Me Beauty Box September 2013

Love Me Beauty Box* - £10 + £2.95 Delivery

Love Me Beauty is the new name for BeautecoBox. Personally I don't think the name is quite as catchy but apparently they had to change it due to being too similar to another brand. Anyway these boxes seem to be one of the best sample box offerings out on the market. They always have at least a couple of full size products from some great brands. Plus you actually get the choice of which set of goodies you'll receive. Even though I know exactly what I'm getting, I always look forward to receiving these boxes as I know there's lots of things I will certainly use.

Matriskin Collagen Serum MP
This product has some pretty amazing effects on the skin. It's a clear serum that helps to plump up and tighten the skin reducing the signs of ageing. It does feel a bit sticky to begin with but as soon as it dries down it makes my skin feel really hydrated. It promises a lifting effect without surgery and my skin felt a lot tighter (in a good way) after using it. My jawline especially saw benefits from using it and my nasiolabial folds completely disappeared. They're probably the most prominent lines on my face so it was really cool to see how this plumped them up. The full size version of this costs around £95 though so I really am making the most of this sample!

Murad Osmolyte Tonic
I really liked this toner. It kinda reminds me of Hydraluron but in a spray formula. It has that same deep hydrating effect and helps to plump up & firm the skin too. It feels incredibly cooling & refreshing upon application. It's also quite soothing on any blemishes or irritation. Sprays are my favourite method of toning but some of them don't seem to do very much. This one definitely does what it says and will be great for Winter time. It is suitable for all skin types but I can see this being a godsend for those with dry or dehydrated skin.

Anatomicals Puffy The Eye Bag Slayer Revitalising Eye Mask
Sometimes I like to get a little old school with my beauty treatments and this hot or cold eye gel mask is about as old school as it gets. You can either pop in the fridge or heat it up by sticking it in a pan of hot water. The strap on this mask is a little tight for my head but even if you just plonk the gel part on top of your eyes it does help to refresh & de-puff tired peepers.

Nip + Fab Stiletto Fix Leg + Foot Balm
I was really excited to try out this cooling leg & foot balm. I walk everywhere so I often end up with tired legs. I've tried similar products in the past that were effective & I've heard so many great things about Nip + Fab. However I can't say I'm a big fan of this. It has the oddest smell (supposedly peppermint), isn't very cooling and it leaves my legs feeling quite sticky. If you want something that will actually help with tired legs I'd recommend The Body Shop's Peppermint range instead.

Essential Care Lemon & Tea Tree Facial Wash
Upon contact with water this pearly white liquid turns into a lovely foamy cleanser that is ideal for oily or combination skin. I love products that feature tea tree oil because it's a natural antiseptic and brilliant for blemishes. This facial wash is 70% organic and free from nasties. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft. It helps to balance oil production and gives your skin an almost matte finish. It's not anything special but there's not much wrong with it either. I'm just used to the drastic effects of my Elemis cleanser so nothing can really hold a candle to that at the minute. The best thing about it is how good it smells, lemon & tea tree are two of my very favourite scents. I could sniff that tube all day long!

Overall it was a really nice box with loads of cool skincare products. The Matriskin & Murad products were definitely the star items so it was a good idea to feature them in every version of the box. You can subscribe to Love Me Beauty for £10 a month plus £2.95 delivery with no minimum subscription term. Visit the Love Me Beauty website to find out more.
