Message In A Bottle

Dress - H&M / Jumper - The Orphans Arms / Shoes - Topshop / Socks - Topshop
Clubmaster Sunglasses - Sunglasses Shop* / Necklace - Claire's Accessories / Bracelet - Ginger Pickle*

Finally, a nice Summery day! I have gotten a bit fed up of wearing jeans, boots and a jumper every day for the past few weeks so as soon as there's a bit of sun I break out the pretty dresses. I bought this white shirt dress from H&M. I have a couple of shirt dresses from there in pink & black that I love and I was so tempted to add this to my collection as soon as I spotted it instore. I managed to restrain myself for a while but then I saw Charissa wearing it on her blog and knew I had to have it too! I think they're great casual dresses & are perfect for Summer weather. This one is a lot more see-through than the others I have though. Think I need to invest in some kind of slip dress as I'm 99% sure you can see my underwear!

I wore it with this jumper from one of my favourite clothing brands - The Orphans Arms. If you've never heard of them before they're like a cheaper British version of Wildfox. I'm obsessed with their t-shirts and pullovers, I'd love to buy everything they make! This is a really thin jumper so it's perfect as a Summer coverup. My Topshop Vectra shoes finally bit the dust in the rain last week so I'm back to wearing these Topshop Kerb2 T-Bars as my everyday shoes. Not that I'm complaining, I will love them forever!

The other day I was kindly offered some new sunglasses by Sunglasses Shop. They have a huge range of designer sunglasses from brands such as Chanel, Dior, Celine & Tom Ford at unbeatable prices. I'm a big fan of Ray-Ban Sunglasses because of their classic styles & durability. I wear my Wayfarers all the time so I decided to go for theRay-Ban 3016 Clubmaster sunglasses. I love the shape & I see so many celebrities wearing them. They arrived incredibly quickly and were very well packaged - the service provided by Sunglasses Shop is just impeccable. I wore them for the first time today as it was so lovely and sunny out. They feel really comfy & light to wear. I've had my Wayfarers for years so it'll be nice to have a different pair of sunglasses this Summer.

The Dangerous Type

Top - The Orphans Arms / Skirt - Glamorous* / Flatforms - ASOS
Necklace - Marc Jacobs / Rings - Regal Rose & H&M

Well my hair is looking a bit mental today isn't it! I had my roots done a couple of weeks ago which was a bit of a disaster. They were adamant on getting the remaining bits of pink out of my hair even though I told them not to, which resulted in two lots of bleach over my entire hair and a horrible chemical burn at the top of my head. Ouch. I decided to make it properly pink again today but my hair was so white that some of the pink appears to have turned neon! I think the pastel pink was a lot more flattering so I'm hoping that it starts to fade a bit soon.

Today I'm wearing this awesome skirt from Glamorous. I've wanted a dip hem skirt for ages but being so short, it was difficult to find one that didn't completely drown me. This is the perfect length and looks exactly how I hoped it would. Glamorous currently have a 20% discount offer on if you enter the code 'Glamorous20' at the checkout. They have loads of gorgeous clothes on there. I think I'm gonna order this skirt next because its a perfect dupe for one of my fave styles from American Apparel but at half the price! I paired the skirt with this t-shirt from The Orphans Arms which I really love because its so comfy. It makes me wish there really was a London School Of Sorcery! I've always wanted to look like Nancy in The Craft so thats the style I'm channeling today haha.

I've not really blogged for the past few weeks, so sorry about that! I've been a busy bee looking after a poorly child, doing some special blogging projects and just enjoying the sunshine. I probably would've gone to the park again today but Mumford & Sons have taken it over and you have to pay £50 to get in even if you don't want to watch them play. I really would've liked to see Willy Mason play live today though. I used to listen to his albums everyday when I walked to my art foundation course back in 2006. Six years later and 'Save Myself' is still the most played track on my iTunes library! Anyways I feel like June is gonna be a lot calmer so I should be posting more often.

Wonderland

Sweatshirt - The Orphans Arms / Shorts - H&M / Necklace - River Island / Rings - ASOS / Bracelet - Black Tied

This is what I wore today for our baby group in the pub. I've spent the last week tidying the house & clearing out loads of old stuff so I had a few mountains of Chloe's old clothes to donate. Its weird how you can spend so much money on baby things but its literally impossible to sell things on for more than 50p so I decided to just not bother. But its a good group to go to because it means I get to enjoy some good old pub grub as loads of other pubs won't let you in with a pushchair.

I made an ASOS order last week which was a bit annoying as they had 24% off everything yesterday! I got this sweatshirt by The Orphans Arms and those Maison Martin Margiela style rings in gold & silver. They arrived today and I couldn't wait to put on my new goodies. I've bought a few items from The Orphans Arms now and I love them because they're just so comfortable. Their style is similar to that of Wildfox but at a fraction of the price. I wore it with my new black high waisted shorts from H&M. I made the mistake of walking to and from town on a busy road & I can't count the number of times I got beeped or wolf whistled at. The shorts aren't even that short. Maybe they were just offended by my flabby thighs. Either way men are obviously just idiots.
