in the company of wolves.

Cape: American Apparel
T-shirt: Urban Outfitters
Necklace: Anna Lou Of London

I'm glad its getting a bit warmer out. Means I don't have to trudge around town in my DMs, massive coat & scarf. I do love this cape, it makes feel like I'm Little Red Riding Hood. When I bought it the sales assistant even asked me if I was getting it for Halloween haha! I wore this out on Saturday on a trip to Crown Point as I needed to pop into Asda Living to get some supplies for Chloe. The stuff I got for her weighed so much that the bags must've cut off the circulation in my ring finger or something because I still can't feel it properly! Its been a couple of days now, so I'm getting quite worried!

I also went to New Look so I could get this top. It took me ages to decide between the cream & grey but in the end I bought the grey one because I thought it went better with my hair. I'll probably do an outfit post with it later this week. When I got it home and tried it on I noticed one of the buttons was missing, boo! I'll just have to sew on the spare because I really can't be bothered to go back.

And I couldn't do a post without mentioning the X Factor finale! I really didn't want Matt to win because he seems like a smug tosser. I'm quite conflicted about him releasing a Biffy Clyro song. They've been around for ages but only really got successful in the last couple of years so its good that they'll be getting one massive royalty cheque. However their latest stuff is a load of crap so Matt publicising them means their latest album is gonna get played even more by the likes of Radio 1, urgh. Bring back the Blackened Sky days I say! The highlight of the whole thing was probably Rihanna & Christina Aguilera performing. It kinda sickens me to think that Rihanna is only a few months older than me, but shes definitely good diet motivation!

  2. Ahh, I love the cape. Anything that makes you feel like a fairy tale character when you wear it is right up my street.

I know what you mean about Matt. Did you see what Harry from One Direction said to him? Something about 'think how much pussy you're gonna get'. That's awful! :(

  4. The finish on New Look stuff is a bit questionable lately. I got some tights the other day and when I got them home I found the leg had accidentally been stitched into the back seam. I couldn't be arsed to go back either so it was an unpicker-needle and thread job. Gah!

I really love the necklace too.

  5. I am a die hard biffy fan and as soon as I heard it I thought SELL OUTS! but youre right, its taken them such a long time to finally get 'famous' in the eyes of the top 40 charts etc. so maybe matt will give the band even more exposure... but I'm not sure if biffy fans will be happy about that haha. you always look lovely caroline :) haha oh no, I hope you get the feeling back in your finger soon! :( carrying too much shopping is never fun xx

  6. AWww love the cape! I have only heard about this dire cover! It is quite funny timing really because only in last week's Kerrang that they said they have managed to get quite big without really having the press or having to change too much with the way they like to play!

Im also partly bitter because I was meant to see them two weeks ago but the silly snow stopped me :-(

    xxxx

  7. Yay finally one other person out there who agrees that Matt is a bit of a tool and shouldn't have won. Also he killed that Biffy song. Bad bad times. Loving your cape though! The colour looks fab on you x

  8. That cape is the most gorgeous thing! I love your hair too (: I love Matt Cardle, but I think that him winning X Factor is going to ruin him a little bit, as well as the radio overplaying situation. Oh gosh, I loved Rihanna and Christina's performances, seeing Christina perform made me feel 10 again haha. xx
